Things to Remember at the End of the Year

The first page of each Learning World textbook clearly states the achievement target of the textbook under the title “Let’s try our best to do this much Achievement Target. The goal of both students and teachers is to complete all the questions in the Achievement Target.

It is also intended to “help children understand the achievements of their own learning”.

By using this page to work on each assignment, you will not only improve your English, but you will also take responsibility for your own learning, giving you a sense of accomplishment and ” the true joy of learning”.

Once the text is completed, the 16 assignments on this page will be completed over 3-4 weeks in the last month of the year (March if starting in April) for a comprehensive review and “evaluation” at the end of the year. The following is a brief summary of the assignments

▲For Learning World1

It consists of 16 assignments in three categories: “Tell me about yourself,” ” Understand the textbook,” and “Get interested in the written word.”

【How to use】

First, the 16 tasks on the Achievement Target are read to the students so that they know what they are supposed to do.
The children are instructed to present the tasks in the order in which they can do them, starting with the ones they can do.
Number 13, 14, and 15.

  • Say 10 chants
  • Sing three songs
  • Say 6 dialogues

For the goal, children are instructed to listen to the audio at home.

If you do not have a CD deck at home, you can listen to the audio of the student CDs with the app. Click here for more information about the app. YELLOW, Book 1 is a text with audio QR, so you can also listen to the audio from the QR code in the textbook.

Please allow 3-4 weeks at the end of the school year for the entire class to complete assignments 1-18.

Try your best to have everyone complete the Achievement Target at the end of the year’s study of the text.

Upon completion of all the assignments, the teacher will sign the Certificate at the end of the textbook and give it to each student.

(Please cut the certificate out of the textbook using the perforated line and hand it in after you have passed the textbook.)

*Depending on the size of the class and the situation, such as enrollment during the course of the school year, schools should decide on the evaluation criteria, such as 80-90% for Achievement Targets.

*At the end of the school year, we will guide the students to achieve all the targets by supporting them with “We are finally starting next month,” “How well do you think you will be able to pass the test? and “How well do you think you will be able to complete all the questions?
