Review and Homework

It is indicated that it takes 1000 hours of listening to reach fluency in learning a second language.
The “Learning World” series includes homework to review the chants and dialogue.

To see the progress in homework, students can use the Progress Sheet which comes with the textbook.

The even numbers (4,6,8,10,12,…,62) indicate the left page of the textbook.
Colour in or put a sticker on the number for the completed chants and dialogue.
It is a great way for both teachers and students to see the progress visually all year around.
・For “BRIDGE” and “TOMORROW” textbooks, check homework by each step completed, instead of each page.
▼BRIDGE
・Listening Check Section: Listen to the dialogue (Animal Talk) and “Let’s Chants!” as homework.
・Mini Test Section: Vocabulary and phrase test for each step.

▼TOMORROW
・Reciting Section: Listen to the Passage, dialogue and chants as homework.
・Writing Section: Copy the sentences from the left side pages of the textbook as homework.

The Progress Sheet is found in the back of the Student Book.

Cut the sheets out before handing the new textbooks to the students.
